Security Policy
How we protect data, systems, and client confidentiality.
Last updated: 1 July 2026
Bynum Shop ("we," "us," or "our") takes the security of client and visitor information seriously. This Security Policy summarizes the safeguards we use to protect data and systems. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. Encryption
Our website is served over HTTPS, encrypting data in transit between your browser and our servers using industry-standard TLS. Where we store or transmit sensitive client information, we use encryption and secure protocols appropriate to the data involved.
2. Secure Hosting
We rely on reputable hosting and infrastructure providers that maintain robust physical and network security, including firewalls, monitoring, and regular patching. We select vendors that follow recognized security practices and keep their platforms up to date.
3. Access Control
We apply the principle of least privilege: team members and service providers are granted only the access necessary to perform their roles. We use strong, unique credentials and enable multi-factor authentication on key systems where available. Access to client accounts and data is limited, logged where practical, and revoked promptly when no longer needed.
4. Confidentiality
Client information is treated as confidential and is used only to deliver the services we have been engaged to provide. Our personnel and service providers are bound by confidentiality obligations, as described in our Service Agreement. We do not sell client or visitor data.
5. Data Minimization & Retention
We collect only the information we need to operate our business and deliver our services, and we retain it only as long as necessary or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized. See our Privacy Policy for details on retention.
6. Vendor & Integration Security
When we integrate third-party tools and platforms on your behalf, we use their supported, secure integration methods and recommend enabling available security features such as multi-factor authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of accounts you own and control.
7. Monitoring & Updates
We keep the software and dependencies we control reasonably up to date and monitor for issues. Security is an ongoing process, and we review and improve our practices as threats and technologies evolve.
8. Incident Response
In the event of a security incident affecting your information, we will take reasonable steps to investigate and contain it, and we will notify affected parties and relevant authorities where required by applicable law and without undue delay.
9. Your Role in Security
Security is a shared responsibility. We encourage you to use strong, unique passwords, enable multi-factor authentication, keep your own devices and software updated, and be cautious of phishing. Please share credentials with us only through secure means.
10. Reporting a Concern
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability or have a security concern, please contact us promptly at contact@bynumshop.site or +1 (913) 245-9984. We appreciate responsible disclosure and will respond as quickly as we can.
